Carol Denny, LM, CPM, Founder/President is a licensed midwife in the state of Arizona. She is a Certified Professional Midwife  and a Qualified Evaluator (QE) through North American Registry of Midwives (NARM).  She is also a Certified Childbirth Educator.  She graduated from Ancient Art Midwifery Institute in 1997.  She has attended over 550 births. She is a member of Midwives Alliance of North America. She has been a CPR Instructor for both American Heart Association and American Red Cross.  She has served on the board of Arizona Association of Midwives as Treasurer, Secretary, and Vice-President, and has also served on numerous Peer Review Committees.  She has been married for 25 years, has 8 children, and 3 grandchildren.

Mary Lohmann, Secretary, Treasurer graduated from Ottawa University with a BA in Health Care Administration.  She worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room, labor and delivery, newborn nursery and as an occupational health nurse.  She is married and has 2 children, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.  She has been  involved in outreaches for many years.  She is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Theresa Crull RNC, W.H.N.P., has been  in the nursing field for 33 years. She has over 10 years of Labor and Delivery experience. She graduated from Harbour UCLA, Torrance, CA  in 1999 as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. She is trained and certified in inpatients obstetrics, fetal monitoring, as well as limited ultrasound. She currently is working at Crisis Pregnancy Center of Greater, a non-profit organization that serves the needs of women, men and families in the community by offering STD/STI testing, abstinence education, limited ultrasound as well as crisis  pregnancy intervention counseling. She is a member of Arizona Partners for Abstinence Education (APAE), American Pregnancy Association, Parents for Truth  and National Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women's Health (NPWH). Theresa and her husband have been married for 34 years and have one grown son.

Deitra Kavanaugh, Administrative Assistant and  Intercessory Prayer Coordinator, has owned a small business with her husband for the past 10 years. Deitra has been married for 23 years, has two adult children and one grandbaby.

The Board of Reference serves as counselors to Helping Mothers & Babies Incorporated, and lend expertise and credibility to our organization.  They are invaluable in their willingness to vouch for this ministry. You may contact any of these people for a referral or for more information.

Debra Cipolletti, Pharm.d, Rph received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 1986 from the University of Southern California and completed an ASHP accredited residency in hospital pharmacy at the University of California, Irvine Medical Center in 1987.  She has worked at Good Samaritan Medical Center since January 1988.  She worked as a pediatric/neonatal pharmacist for thirteen years.  She has been working in the area of adult medicine for the last seven years.  She is a homeschooling mother of three.

Connie Garcia, CNM, MSN earned her BSN in nursing and MSN in midwifery from Case Western Reserve University and the Community-based Nurse-Midwifery Education Program at the Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing, respectively.

Connie is a native of Michigan. She is married and the mother of five children and has seven grandchildren so far. She is interested in vocal music and spends her free time playing the piano and participating in leading worship. She is a commissioner and site visitor for the Commission for Accreditation of Birth Centers, and strongly believes in the importance of providing a birth center experience to all those who desire it. Connie is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Paul Madson is the founder and president of Global Training Network, a non-profit organization that seeks to equip and encourage pastors, church planters and Christian leaders around the world. Since its inception four years ago, GTN's ministry has reached over 21 countries worldwide, and continues to expand. Prior to beginning GTN, he pastored for over twenty years. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Pastoral Ministries from Southwestern College, and his M.Div. from Western Seminary. In addition, he has done work on his Doctorate at Phoenix Seminary. Paul lives in Peoria with his wife Lisa and they have three grown children who are all married.

Michael Means is the founder and President of Metro Institute, an Internet computer-based testing and training company operating across the nation.   With a BA in business management, Mike has established several organizations during nearly four decades of entrepreneurship after beginning his career as a Systems Analyst for Mobil Oil Corporation.   

In 1984, Mike founded Invest Eternal, an organization designed to teach Principles of Money Management.  The most recent training class, “Navigating the Storm,” addresses the current economic situation.  Mike has taught in the US, Spain, and Russia.  He has served as Treasurer of Calvary Chapel North Phoenix since 1981 and also serves on the Board of Directors of Calvary Chapel Mountain Vista and Calvary Chapel Yuma.
